Taylor Swift’s Vienna Concerts Canceled Over Possible Terrorism

VIENNA, Austria — Taylor Swift’s concerts in Austria this weekend have been canceled following arrests connected to an alleged terror plot.

Austrian officials said two suspects were taken into custody Wednesday. One of the two suspects is a 19-year-old Austrian citizen who allegedly pledged allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State.

Officials said one of the focuses of the 19-year-old suspect for the alleged planned attack was Swift’s Vienna concerts.

Swift was scheduled to perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with each concert expected to draw 65,000 fans, with another 10-15,000 outside.
