TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A Terre Haute man has advanced to the Finals of America’s Got Talent.

Middle school custodian Richard Goodall was one of the select few to get a “Golden Buzzer” during the audition phase of the show, after he sang his version of “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

That performance currently has 24 million views on YouTube.

One YouTube commenter wrote, “He is the janitor at my twins [sic] school, West Vigo. They were screaming and crying tears of happiness for Mr. Richard… We are SO excited for him!”

Another person said, “My school janitor is on TV! I told a million times when he was cleaning my class and singing: Richard you got do something with your Voice!”
