Indiana Governor-elect Mike Braun made an appearance on the Kendall And Casey Show today, during which he stated that WIBC is indeed his favorite radio station.

Braun recently bid farewell to the U.S. Senate after being elected to be Indiana’s governor. He gave his final speech on the Senate floor on Capitol Hill last week.

Braun joined the Kendall And Casey Show to talk about his transition from the Senate to the Statehouse. He discussed the cabinet that he is putting together, emphasizing that his goal is to reduce inefficiency in government by having fewer people in the top positions that directly report to him to allow for a “snappier, faster-footed government”.

Having laid out his agenda and vowing to collaborate closely with state legislature, Braun also discussed how confident he is that he will be successful with property tax reform.

Since the Kendall And Casey Show has played a pivotal role in bringing awareness to property taxes and the need for property tax reform, it has been a recurring conversation on the show that Host Rob Kendall deserves to receive the Sagamore of the Wabash award, an honor bestowed by the state of Indiana to individuals who have made a significant contribution to life in the state. Casey brought this up to Braun, to which Braun acknowledged that he had heard the topic being discussed while he was “listening to his favorite radio station”.
