MAGA Representative Proposes Adding Trump’s Face to Mount Rushmore

Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump, has introduced a bill aiming to add Trump’s face to the iconic Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

Luna described the proposal as a fitting tribute to Trump’s “remarkable accomplishments for our country and the success he will continue to deliver.”

She announced the bill with the statement:

“Let’s get carving!”

The proposed legislation has sparked mixed reactions across the political spectrum.

While Trump loyalists see it as a bold move to cement his legacy, critics have questioned the practicality and morality of altering the historic monument.

Notably, Luna’s bill would require significant bipartisan support to pass through Congress, a highly unlikely scenario given the deep political divisions in Washington.

Trump himself has hinted at interest in Mount Rushmore in the past.

During a 2017 rally, he joked about being added to the monument, acknowledging that making such remarks could lead to controversy.

Additionally, former South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem once recalled Trump expressing in private that it was his “dream” to join the ranks of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt on the famous mountainside.

The public response to this proposal includes both fascination and skepticism.

Social media and pundit debates have exposed the polarizing nature of such an idea, with some supporters suggesting alternative measures like renaming airports or buildings in Trump’s honor instead.
