BOONE COUNTY, Ind..–No bodies have been found, but Boone County deputies believe two chocolate labs that were stolen from Clinton County, were shot and killed on property in Boone County sometime this week.

The dogs were reported missing by the Human Society of Clinton County, Tuesday, said a news release from the Boone Co. Sheriff’s Dept.
Deputies responded and wrote up a report.

Friday deputies served a search warrant on the property where the dogs were believed to be. They found evidence the dogs had been shot and killed, but did not find the bodies.
Deputies say all parties involved are cooperating with them.
