Notre Dame Women Dominate Michigan, Advance to Sweet 16

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The Notre Dame women’s basketball team led by as many as 35 points in their 76-55 victory over Michigan in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on Sunday.
Notre Dame (28-5) opened up with an 11-2 run and raced out to a 32-12 lead after the first quarter. They would never trail in the game.
The Notre Dame defense held Michigan to as season low 55 points.
Notre Dame moves on to the Sweet 16 while Michigan’s season comes to an end.
