Police: 14-Year-Old Dies in Lebanon Crash On I-65
LEBANON, Ind.–If you remember seeing or hearing about I-65 being shut down in Boone County Friday afternoon, that was because of a crash that killed a 14-year-old boy and injured a 12-year-old girl, say Lebanon Police.
Officers did not identify anyone involved in the crash when they released information Monday, except the driver, Taylor Kammas, 35, of Illinois, who was taken for a blood draw.
The results of the blood draw have not been made public.
Officers who investigated the one-car wreck, said it happened around 5 p.m. when the car crashed neat Hall Baker Rd. and Indianapolis Ave.
Both the boy and girl were thrown from the vehicle.
Others who were in the car were taken to the hospital for treatment and evaluation, according to the news release.
