Temperatures Rise and Possible Rain

STATEWIDE — You may remember a series of catastrophes, including heavy rain, tornadoes, flooding, and partly cold temperatures across the state.

“Sunday looks pretty good. It’ll be mostly cloudy with highs in the low to mid 60’s,” says Earl Breon, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Indianapolis.

Breon says the state may experience warmer temperatures on Monday.

“Indiana may experience highs in the upper 60’s to around the 70’s through most parts of Central Indiana,” Breon says.

Breon says Tuesday and Wednesday look pretty good, but…

“There are a few areas across the state that could see some showers. Toward the end of the week, rain could return,” Breon says.

Breon says for Thursday into the weekend, Central Indiana may not get a serious amount of rain, but it could change because it is nearly a week from now.
