There Has To Be A Consequence To Being Here Illegally
There has to be a consequence to being here illegally. Not according to Democrats. The left and their friends in the media are demanding the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, even though there is no debate that he is an illegal alien.
So, the fight continues on Capitol Hill that somehow President Trump has to tell a foreign nation to return somebody who isn’t an American citizen to America because that’s what the Supreme Court said, because this guy, Abrego Garcia, was sent back to El Salvador even though there was a 2019 court ruling that said he couldn’t be sent back to El Salvador. Now, why that court ruling happened, why the then Trump administration didn’t work against it, why the Bondi Justice Department had didn’t try to make moves on that before sending this guy to El Salvador, I don’t know. And it bothers me to this day, to this very moment. We’ve been talking about it for days now. But the bigger conversation is the political left is now responding by saying, “we’re going to go to El Salvador and demand this man’s release.” He’s an El Salvadorian citizen. He came to the United States illegally. Griff Jenkins joins us right now at Fox News. A guy who is covering the border before it was cool to cover the border and it’s just straight up fact. You have been in on the conversations. You’ve had the private conversations. You’ve lived long enough to see Democrats say, “we are going to go to El Salvador to try and bring back an illegal alien who is connected, according to two world leaders, with gang activity.” Make it make sense.
Griff Jenkins:
I can’t at all, Tony. Honestly, I think, Tony, this may be a first US senator, a sitting US senator traveling to a foreign country to advocate for an illegal alien where he’s been returned to after being deemed affiliated with the MS13 gang. But yet that’s exactly what Maryland’s Democrat Senator Chris Van Holland is doing today, going down there to demand that Kilmar Abrego Garcia be released. I doubt he’ll even get access to the maximum-security mega prison, or any officials will meet with them because the El Salvador President Naib Bucheli refused to talk to him when he was here in Washington a few days ago. This is a far cry from the days when. Bill Clinton and even Barack Obama wanted secure borders and increased deportations.
