At Least Two Killed in Shooting at Florida State University
TALLAHASSEE, FL.– Two people are dead and five are hurt because of a shooting at Florida State University that happened Thursday afternoon.
The FSU police chief says the gunman is a current student at the school and has been apprehended. It happened near a crowded student union during lunchtime on the Tallahassee campus.
Leon County Sheriff Walter McNeil says the 20-year-old shooter is the son of a sheriff’s deputy and had access to one of her weapons. McNeil called this a tragic day.
There are multiple crime scenes, and this is considered an ongoing investigation.
