You have the right to remain silent… unless you have a BINGO!

Several police officers were caught playing so-called “crime BINGO” while on duty.

Thirteen officers in Bozeman, Montana created a game to compete with each other during their shifts. They created their own version of Bingo by filling in blank squares with things that might happen on their shift. The categories for the game included things like “drug DUI,” “foot pursuit,” “team member hit on by arrestee,” and our personal favorite a block with the words “butt ass naked.”

The game went on for about 12 days until their command staff found out. The game was shut down and deemed “inappropriate.” An official investigation was made to evaluate if the officers made any wrongful arrests or if the officers acted outside their normal duties to win the game. No cases were found ‘affected’ by the game.

The officers were given a verbal warning by the Chief and supervisors were disciplined.
