This Is Not Journalism, This Is Indoctrination

This is not journalism, this is indoctrination. Trust in legacy media is falling off a cliff because it no longer reports the news. Journalism schools are producing idealogues, not reporters. Now they blame the new media for their bad “trust” polling numbers, calling them “freaks”
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsPosting longer clip than usual – big discussion on state of the media last night. Trust is so low but there’s a way to fix it: MAKE A BETTER PRODUCT. And I strongly defend new media sources against attacks they are “freaks.” Worth the watch from @cnn 10p last night. pic.twitter.com/Un2lXdEZ5t

It’s not that they can’t change, it’s that they won’t. No, wait. It’s not that they won’t change, it’s that they can’t. Ed Morrissey joins me right now from hotair.com where he writes the story:

If you ever wondered what the media elites truly think of its audience, you now have your answer. @ScottJenningsKY offers good advice … to no avail.

He’s talking, of course, about media bias. And those of us who say this is why we don’t pay attention to you. I put this into a larger context conversation that I want to get into with you. But when you heard this this (Scott Jennings) clip, which you share in in in your piece there at Hot Air in in full, were you scratching your head? Were you laughing out loud? Or were you concerned that someone like Abby Phillip, who ostensibly has an understanding of what’s going on around her, clearly doesn’t?
Uh, well, I, I think I was laughing more than anything else because it, it, it again, it just goes to remind us that this is the media isn’t interested and the left isn’t interested in dialogue. I mean, this is kind of a piece and I’m sure you’ve already covered the, the issue with Larry David and Bill Maher, they’re not interested in dialogue.
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsNEW: Scott Jennings says Larry David’s attack on Bill Maher wasn’t about dinner—it was the modern left threatening the next person into silence.

Larry David just dropped a venom-laced op-ed in the New York Times titled “My Dinner With Adolf,” unleashing on Bill Maher for one… pic.twitter.com/qcmvvKlw58
They’re interested in forcing their opponents to submit and they want to shut down anything else. And that’s Scott Jennings there to remind them that that is not going to be a successful policy. And I am not sure. Whether they’re ever going to change, because I think the people who are running these outfits, and the people who are working in these outfits are there for a mission and not for, and it’s not a journalistic mission. It’s not a reportorial mission that they’re on. They’re there on an ideological mission. And I don’t think that they can be deflected from it.
