UPS to Cut 20,000 Jobs
ATLANTA, GA.– UPS will be laying off 20,000 workers over the remainder of this year. This follows 12,000 job cuts in 2024.
UPS operates in more than 200 countries. CBS is reporting the job cuts are linked to a drastic drop in Amazon deliveries, which is their largest customer.
As part of an operational consolidation plan, UPS will also be closing 73 of its distribution locations.
