Congresswoman Erin Houchin Talks About Recent Highlights from the Hill
WASHINGTON — We are just over 100 days into President Donald Trump’s second term. Thanks to the republican trifecta, real results are being delivered to the American people. Indiana Congresswoman Erin Houchin is from Indiana’s 9th District, and she talks about the most recent “Highlights from the Hill.”
“President Trump is doing exactly what he promised on the campaign trail,” says Houchin.
Houchin says the majority of Americans are behind Trump, border crossings are down 99.9%, and immigrants who committed crimes are being deported every single day.
“No more catch in release. No more open borders,” Houchin says. “President Trump is doing what Joe Biden refused to do, and he has secured over $5.2 trillion in investments, bringing jobs home, and rebuilding American manufacturing.”
Houchin says 75 countries have come to the negotiating table on tariffs, proving that when America leads with strength, the world responds.
“The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has already uncovered and cut $160 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse,” Houchin says. “That’s money staying in your pocket.”
Houchin says American energy has been released once again.
“We’re no longer dependent on foreign adversaries. We are producing, exporting, and powering our economy on our own terms,” Houchin says.
Houchin says accountability is being restored, American values are being defended, and America is being put first.
