Tyrese Haliburton 3
Indiana Pacers

CLEVELAND, OH.—Tyrese Haliburton drilled a three-pointer with 1 second left to give his Indiana Pacers a 120-119 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday night.

That gives the Pacers a 2-0 lead in this Eastern Conference Semifinals series. Games 3 and 4 will both be in Indianapolis.

Despite 48 points from Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, Indiana overcame a 20-point deficit. They trailed 119-112 with 57 seconds left in the game.

After Haliburton was fouled with his team down 119-116, he made the first free throw and missed the second. He got his own rebound and sunk the game-winning three.

Cleveland was without three of their key players to injury in De’Andre Hunter, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley.

All five of the Pacers starters finished in double figure scoring, which they’ve done all throughout the playoffs. Myles Turner and Aaron Nesmith each had 23 to lead the way for Indiana.

Game 3 is Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Tipoff is at 7:30. Pregame coverage starts at 7 on 93.5 and 107.5 The Fan.
