Cop Finds Raccoon w/ Meth Pipe During Traffic Stop
We’re just going to let this headline speak for itself…
Pet raccoon with meth pipe in his mouth found in driver’s seat during traffic stop that led to big drug bust
An Ohio officer had an unforgettable shift earlier this week after a pet racoon snitched on his owner.
The Springfield Township Police Department said they had “a first” during what they thought was a standard traffic stop.
The officers pulled over a 55 year-old woman after they identified she had an active warrant and a suspended driver’s license. As the cop’s questioned her outside of her vehicle, one officer noticed there was not only a raccoon in the passenger seat, but it was playing with a glass methamphetamine pipe. The officer carefully grabbed the pipe from “Chewy,” the woman’s pet raccoon, after he had a few laughs himself.
The raccoon’s curiosity led to the officers finding a bulk amount of meth, crack coaine, along with a few more glass pipes.
While Chewy’s owner was booked, officers made sure to let the public know that the raccoon was okay and unharmed. Let’s be honest, that’s the only real follow-up question we had!
“While our officers are trained to expect the unexpected, finding a raccoon holding a meth pipe is a first! No raccoons were hurt or injured in this incident.”
