Child Killed, Two Adults Hurt in Southeast Indy Hit-and-Run

INDIANAPOLIS — A child was killed and two adults critically hurt in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night near South State Avenue and East Raymond Street.

Police say the driver of a speeding Dodge Charger ran a red light, crashing into another car and a bicycle. A man was riding the bike and pulling a small trailer with a child inside. The driver took off after the crash.

When IMPD arrived, they found two damaged vehicles and a bicycle. A witness told police the driver of a Dodge Charger was speeding eastbound and ran a red light, slamming into another car and the bicycle.
