Lying doesn’t get you votes Indiana Democrat Party. If the state Democrats stop aligning themselves with the national party, they might actually win elections here.
We’ve broken this down before. This applies to Indiana and the Indiana Democratic Party. This from Indiana House Democrats. Which I didn’t even know there was a, a Twitter account for Indiana House Democrats. But it, it, it’s there. I don’t know how I didn’t know that, but it’s it’s right there:
For the Democratic Party, lying doesn’t get you votes. The story here is that, as reported by WTHR, the previous administration didn’t get paperwork in.
A spokesperson for the FSSA said via WTHR:
“When this administration took office, we discovered that the necessary groundwork had not been completed to launch the program in time for this summer. While we work toward long-term solutions, students in low-income areas across the state can still access free summer meals at approximately 1,000 locations, including schools and community organizations, through the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program.

I don’t know why it’s always paperwork, and therefore deadlines were missed, and Indiana cannot participate. It’s not that Indiana opted out… there doesn’t seem to be in any level of reporting what it is the Braun administration did. Now if they did, that’s a worthy conversation and I’d have… But that doesn’t seem to be the case. Nor did Indiana turn its back on 669,000 hungry children. That’s just dopey… the reporting states that there are over 1000 locations where people can get food. But the conversation as we discussed this yesterday is why do we have 669,000 hungry children? First, is that number accurate? Second, how do we define it? And 3rd, what is it that we are doing to help Hoosiers create better lives so that their children aren’t going hungry? If the answer is dependence on government programs, that’s the wrong answer and you deserve to lose every election, statewide or local. There shouldn’t be any representation from the Democratic Party.
