Man on Motorcycle Killed in Grant County Crash

GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — Grant County authorities are looking into a crash involving a man on a motorcycle, as well as a pickup truck.

It happened late Saturday around 10:30 at the intersection of South Troy Avenue and West 9th Street, which is west of Marion city limits.

Deputies found the man on the motorcycle in a field that was south of the intersection. He was identified as 31-year-old Tyler Joseph Ensor, and he died at the scene. They say Ensor failed to stop at a stop sign while driving a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle and crashed into a 42-year-old man in a 2005 Ford pickup truck.

Officers are figuring out what the cause of the crash was, but they say alcohol and speed might have been involved.
