Overnight Fire at Broad Ripple Park

INDIANAPOLIS — Law enforcement is looking into a fire, involving a building, at Broad Ripple Park early Tuesday.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says they arrived at the building, which is on Broad Ripple Avenue, near Haverford Avenue and Rosslyn Avenue.
According to Indy Parks and Recreation, officials say that it was one of their buildings that was set on fire. It was near the park’s playroom that houses summer camp supplies and bathrooms. Officials say someone broke in overnight, which set an alarm off.
Indy Parks officials say Indy Metro police officers acknowledged the alarm, but the suspect ran off.
